Move to Google Workspace Without the Chaos
Platform migrations look manageable on paper. In practice, emails go missing during the cutover window. Calendars migrate incompletely. Shared drives do not transfer cleanly. Staff cannot access what they need on day one. And the productivity loss that follows a poorly managed migration frequently costs more than the migration itself.
Yeevu manages Google Workspace migrations end to end. Every step is planned, executed, and verified so your business arrives in the new environment with everything in place, everyone operational, and nothing left behind.
02
Who This Is For
Businesses moving from Microsoft 365
who want the real-time collaboration and simplicity of Google Workspace and need their email, calendar, and file data migrated across without gaps or loss.
Businesses leaving legacy hosting email
such as cPanel email, Zoho Mail, or any other hosted email platform, where the technical limitations or reliability of the current setup have become a constraint on the business.
Businesses on GoDaddy, Namecheap, or similar registrar email
who have outgrown basic email hosting and need the full functionality, reliability, and security of a dedicated business productivity platform.
New businesses setting up Google Workspace for the first time
who want the environment configured correctly from the start rather than pieced together as needs arise.
Growing teams
that have been operating on a mix of personal Gmail accounts and informal tools and need to move onto a properly structured, managed business environment.
Businesses that attempted a self-managed migration
that didn’t go as planned and need an expert to assess what happened, recover what can be recovered, and complete the migration properly.

What We Handle
Pre-Migration Audit and Planning
Full documentation of every email account, shared mailbox, distribution list, calendar resource, and file repository in scope. Data volume assessment, migration approach, timing strategy, and success criteria agreed before anything moves.
Google Workspace Account Setup
Organisational unit structure, admin console configuration, security settings, and licence assignment for every user — configured to your requirements before migration begins.
Domain Verification and DNS Preparation
Domain verified with Google. All required DNS records prepared. MX record TTL values reduced in advance to minimise the cutover propagation window.
User Account Creation
Every user account created, licences assigned, security settings configured, and aliases set up. Address mapping documented and validated where email addresses are changing.
Email Migration
Historical email migrated to the correct accounts using tools appropriate to the source platform. Folder structure and labels preserved. Progress monitored and validated on completion before cutover.
Calendar and Contact Migration
Calendar events migrated with attention to recurring event accuracy and shared calendar visibility. Contacts and shared address books migrated and accessible in the new environment.
Google Drive Setup and File Migration
Shared drive structure configured, files migrated with folder hierarchy preserved, permissions reviewed and reconfigured for the Google Drive environment.
MX Record Cutover
Timed for a low-traffic window where possible. Both environments monitored throughout the propagation period. Cutover not considered complete until incoming email is confirmed routing correctly to Google Workspace.
Email Authentication Configuration
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured and validated for the new environment before sign-off.
Staff Onboarding and Access Verification
Every user confirmed able to access Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Meet before the engagement closes.

Our Google Workspace Migration Process
- Audit, Planning, and Environment Preparation Discovery call and existing environment audit. Migration planning document produced. Google Workspace account setup, domain verification, and DNS preparation including TTL reduction on MX records. User account creation and licence assignment.
- Data Migration Email migration from existing platform to Google Workspace, running in the background while the old environment remains live. Calendar and contact migration. Google Drive setup and file migration. Ongoing monitoring of migration progress and resolution of any issues encountered.
- Pre-Cutover Validation Validation of migrated email, calendar, and file data in the new environment. DNS record review and confirmation of Google Workspace authentication record readiness. Staff access testing on the new environment before the cutover.
- MX Record Cutover and Go-Live MX record cutover timed for a low-traffic window. Monitoring of both environments throughout the propagation period. Confirmation of correct email routing to Google Workspace. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC finalisation and validation.
- Staff Onboarding and Post-Migration Validation User onboarding sessions. Access verification for every user across Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Meet. Post-migration validation sweep and report delivery.
05
Timeline
One to three weeks depending on data volume, number of users, and source platform. Larger or more complex migrations are scoped individually following the audit.

Why Businesses Choose Yeevu for Google Workspace Migration
We plan for what goes wrong, not just what should go right.
Every migration plan we produce accounts for the scenarios that cause the most disruption: emails lost during cutover, calendar data that doesn’t migrate cleanly, staff who can’t access their files on day one. We build contingency into the plan before the migration starts, not after something fails.
We handle the DNS.
DNS is where migrations most frequently go wrong for businesses managing their own domains. Because DNS configuration is one of our core services, we handle every record change required for a Google Workspace migration with precision and validate the results before moving to the next step.
We do not consider the job done until every user is working.
A completed data migration with staff who can’t access what they need is not a successful migration. User onboarding and access verification are included in every engagement, and we do not close the project until every member of the team is confirmed to be operational in the new environment.
We cover email authentication properly.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration is frequently skipped or done incorrectly in migrations managed without specialist knowledge. We configure all three layers correctly for the Google Workspace environment and validate them against real inbox providers before sign-off.
We work across everything a migration touches.
A Google Workspace migration involves DNS, email infrastructure, file storage, user management, and staff onboarding. Because Yeevu covers all of these areas, nothing falls through the gaps between separate service providers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will there be any disruption to email during the migration?
Email migration runs in the background while your existing platform remains live. The only period of potential disruption is the MX record cutover, which we manage carefully and monitor throughout.
Can you migrate from any platform to Google Workspace?
We have experience migrating from Microsoft 365, cPanel hosting email, Zoho Mail, GoDaddy email, Rackspace, and other hosted platforms.
Do you migrate Google Drive files as well as email?
Yes. File migration from your existing storage platform to Google Drive is included in the engagement scope.
What if we already started setting up Workspace ourselves and it is not configured correctly?
This is a common situation. We audit the existing setup, identify what is incorrectly configured or incomplete, and either correct it in place or advise on the cleanest path to a properly configured environment depending on what has already been done.
Can you handle the migration for a large team?
Yes. We have managed migrations for teams ranging from a handful of users to large organisations. Larger migrations are scoped individually to account for the additional complexity of data volume, user mapping, and coordinated onboarding.
How long does a Google Workspace migration take?
Most migrations are completed within one to three weeks. The timeline depends on the volume of data being migrated, the number of users, and the complexity of the source environment. We provide a specific timeline estimate following the pre-migration audit.
What happens to emails sent to our old addresses during the migration?
If email addresses are changing as part of the migration, we configure forwarding or aliasing on the old platform to ensure any email sent to old addresses during the transition period is routed correctly. We document this as part of the cutover plan.
